A renowned artist, Sandoval's family history of hundreds of years in these mountains informs his narrative as he depicts the authentic and nostalgic life of the inhabitants of this beautiful country with impressionistic flair. 

The current body of work which will premier during "Enchantment" captures not only the Land of Enchantment, but the culture, as the artist inextricably weaves the two together as the experience of Northern New Mexico. 

Winner of the Governor's Award for Excellence in 2012, Sandoval, and his iconic paintings, is a well-known and honored member of the rich Northern New Mexican culture.
